Rapid Management Software — Redesigned and More Capable
Dimsport completely overhauled the Rapid Management software for XTE. Both the interface and the feature set received significant upgrades. Moreover, two distinct versions give users the right level of control for their needs:
Basic Version This version is straightforward and immediately accessible. You increase or decrease the active map within a defined range using simple plus/minus controls. You also toggle the module on or off at any point. Furthermore, it pulls live vehicle parameters in real time. In short, it covers everything most users need daily.
Professional Version (requires HASP key) This version gives tuners complete freedom. You use the point-to-point curve editor to build a fully custom map from scratch. Specifically, you adjust each individual point across the calibration curve independently. As a result, professional installers achieve a level of precision that basic tools cannot reach.
Both versions also include the new Remote Mode. This feature simplifies support workflows considerably. Additionally, it speeds up firmware development and deployment for installers managing multiple vehicles.
How the Hardware Installs
Rapid XTE sits between the original ECU and the engine wiring harness. This is a clean, non-destructive integration point. Consequently, the factory system stays fully intact throughout.
You can also connect an optional external switch to enable or disable the module on demand. Programming happens by connecting the module to Rapid Management software via the dedicated cable. Notably, every kit includes this cable as standard.
The Technology Behind the Performance
Rapid XTE controls each individual injector directly. Specifically, it adjusts the opening duration of every injector to regulate the precise fuel volume entering the combustion chamber. This injector-by-injector approach delivers accuracy that single-channel systems cannot match.
Beyond injector control, Rapid XTE simultaneously manages two analog signals — rail pressure and turbo pressure. Furthermore, it interacts directly with the vehicle’s CAN line. Together, these capabilities create comprehensive, multi-layered engine management in one platform.
