RCM (Revolution Counter for Motorcycles) is a precision measurement tool developed by TEXA to accurately measure engine speed on both small and large motorcycles. It works as a reliable companion to a bike scanner, engine scanner, and automotive scanner, supporting professional testing and inspection needs.
Accurate engine speed measurement is essential to meet the latest MCTCNet 2 testing standards. RCM ensures precise readings while reducing setup time, making it an efficient bike diagnostic tool for authorized testing centers and workshops.
Contact-Free and Time-Saving Engine Speed Measurement
RCM allows engine speed measurement without connecting cables or sensors to the motorcycle. This contact-free operation significantly reduces preparation time and simplifies the testing process. When used alongside a multi brand scanner or multi brand diagnostic scanner, RCM helps deliver fast and compliant diagnostics.
The device uses a built-in antenna to analyze the ignition frequency generated at the spark plugs. This method ensures accurate and stable readings while keeping the process simple and safe.
Easy Operation and Clear Display
RCM is fully wireless and powered by rechargeable batteries, making it highly portable and easy to use in any workshop environment. A simple keypad allows technicians to select the number of cylinders and engine type (2-stroke or 4-stroke).
The measured engine speed is clearly shown on a graphic display, and a green LED indicator confirms when the reading is correct. This user-friendly design makes RCM a practical bike scan tool, automotive scan tool, and engine diagnostic tool.
Seamless Data Transfer and Software Compatibility
Measured data can be transmitted directly to a test center’s PC via Bluetooth or through an RS232 serial connection. This ensures smooth integration with existing automotive diagnostic software, supporting digital record keeping and compliance reporting.
